JPHES provided design services for the M/E/P systems of two build-outs for Virginia Tech’s National Institute of Aerospace (NIA) Research and Innovation Laboratories Building located in Hampton, VA. One build-out included 7,500 SF of floor area that was built out as an office area. The other build-out included 3,500 SF of floor area that was built-out for flex labs which included ceiling panels with exhaust, chilled water, and power for user-furnished lasers. JPHES was a sub-consultant to Tymoff + Moss Architects for both of these BCOM projects.
